Last week, singer Ariana Grande casually announced online that she will be dropping her next album later this month.
Naturally, the internet collectively lost it.
This is the singer's sixth studio album
The studio album is proceeded by "Thank U, Next" which was released on Feb. 8, 2019. Earlier this year, the singer released two songs, Justin Bieber for "Stuck With U" and Lady Gaga for "Rain On Me", respectively.
The lead single is the title track of the album
The single "Positions" will be released this Friday, Oct. 23, while the album, "positions" will be released next Friday, Oct. 30. Grande released the artwork for "Positions" on Wednesday afternoon.

Fans are theorizing that this era represents the singer's growth
Some fans noticed a flower icon on the singer's website. Grande has used different symbols throughout her career, such as using a teardrop when she released "No Tears Left to Cry".
The singer may have already teased a snippet of the song and lyrics for "Positions"
On Sept. 14, exactly a month before Grande announced her upcoming album, she posted a six-second video and lyrics on her Twitter account.
Another track on the album is titled "Nasty"
Earlier this year, Grande posted a 45 second video of a song titled "Nasty" on her Twitter account.
Fans are theorizing that this is the official cover art for the album
