A Heartwarming Video: Students Gathered to Sing to Their Cancer-Stricken Teacher
NBC News

A few nights ago, as I was scrolling aimlessly through my Twitter feed, I came across a video that had me awestruck, enthralled, and at a loss for words. The 58 second video captures a large group of students gathered on the lawn outside their teacher's home, singing gospel music as he listens and watches through his window.

Though being just short of a minute long, the video withdrew the deepest of emotions, leaving me with the soggiest eyes and endless sniffles. Something about the connection between the students and teacher--the way he sang along with their words and the way they looked up to him with the most moving expressions--held me captive and speechless.

It is moments like these that teach us to cherish every moment we have and appreciate those we spend these moments with.

College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
