Having Your Sibling As Your Best Friend

Because you're the only other person who is as annoyingly funny as me.

Having Your Sibling As Your Best Friend
Bridgette Connolly

Whether you might be the youngest, middle, or oldest of your siblings there is a bond there that is hard to break. For me, I am the baby of one full sister and two half siblings that I admire. But my sister is my number one. God made us to be sisters knowing that we would always need each other, and also to annoy our parents.

With a sibling as a best friend, family vacations and parties are never dull (especially if your family is already crazy). It is a constant person to always turn to talk to, to laugh with, and to always have someone to agree with you. When you have to share a bed while away, it's not a big deal because you just lay there laughing at stupid stuff. Or if you're like me and my sister we choose to share a bed because cuddling is what we do.

If you're lucky enough you can attend the same university as them. That gives an instant person go lean on when college tries to kill you. It's a person you don't have to start all over with, you just continue being there for each other. If you're the youngest you have the chance to be a legacy in Greek life, so you become double sisters or brothers. You have a person that saves your ass whenever with whoever. Thank you for saving me at my first glow party and nights that do not end well.

No matter what, I will have the most trustworthy, kindhearted, and caring person to always have in my life as my best friend. They're the person to call at anytime about anything. The person who knows how to deal with the parents. Siblings are there to annoy the hell out of each other, take things, get to aggressively mad at, but most importantly to be a best friend.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
