Okay, so I am gonna spill a big secret to you all — I am a "Harry Potter" nerd. For everyone who knows me, you know that was not a secret at all.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved "Harry Potter." As a kid, I watched all the movies multiple times. When I was in 4th grade, I decided to read them and fell in love even more. I even took a summer class about "Harry Potter" and Sociology this May. And I loved every second of it. "Harry Potter" has defined my generation for the better. It teaches values like true love, sacrifice, friendship, and courage

I probably do not like you if you hate on the best book series of all time.

In honor of Harry's birthday, July 31st, I give you facts and feelings all "Harry Potter" fans know to be true.

1. You read most of the books in about 1-4 days.

We said four just in case you were super busy that week.

2. You waited in line for "Deathly Hallows."

The book and the movie.

3. When you finally made it to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios, you cried on the inside.

If you haven't been yet, you're planning your trip now.

5. You've taken the Pottermore quiz to make sure which house you were in.

You probably already knew what you were.

6. You roll your eyes overtime you ask someone which house they are in they say Gryffindor.

Not everyone can be the best. Cleary you are a Ravenclaw, duh.

7. You own at least one piece of Harry Potter merchandise.

Scarf, wand, shirt, maybe a lion head. You never know.

8. Your preferred beverage is Butterbeer.

Hot, frozen, even the ice cream. Why can't Starbucks serve it?

9. Waiting for your Hogwarts Letter everyday is super tiring.

So what if it's eight years late?

10. You have a teacher, professor, or principal who you know has to be related to Dolores Umbridge.

Especially when they wear that pink sweater.

11. Molly Weasley is your spirit animal.

So fierce.

12. Your heart breaks at the mention of any deaths.

Especially Dobby. Dobby is a free elf. #RI

13. We all love Hermione. Especially PoA Hermione.

You laugh every time you watch this part.

14. You laugh every time someone mentions "Twilight" is better than "Harry Potter."

Uncultured swines.

15. Whether you like sports or not, you know you'd kill in Quidditch.

Honestly, you'd probably get beat out by Neville.

16. You freaked out when you realized Snape was good all this time, then he has to die on you.

After all this time? Life is not fair

17. Even if you won't admit it, you can't stand the the GoF movie cause everyone's hair was disgusting.

Like, seriously, it was more like "Harry Potter and the Year Everyone Needed a Haircut."

18. Neville's transformation gives you hope for your awkward, timid self.

Who doesn't love Longbottom?

19. There is nothing as fun as saying "Potter" like a Malfoy.

.If you don't think so, you've never tried it.

20. You laugh every time someone mentions "Twilight" in the same category as HP.

Funny joke.

21. While it's not quite the same, you are freaking out over "Fantastic Beasts" and "The Cursed Child."

10 points to J.K. Rowling (and Eddie Redmayne)

22. When someone says something about hating "Harry Potter:"

*remembers to never trust that person ever again*

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
