The "Harry Potter" series is one of the greatest books series I have ever read. The creativity that J.K. Rowling has shared with the world is absolutely genius.

One of my favorite things about her work is that she created so many characters and they each have their very own distinct personalities, which makes it easy to wonder what major they would have chosen if they had attended a muggle university. Based on the traits of each character in the "Harry Potter" series, here are the majors I believe each one of them would have chosen.

Harry Potter: Criminal Justice and Forensic Science

Harry's ambition in the books is to become an Auror, which is the highest level of law enforcement in the wizarding world. Based on all of the mysteries and crimes Harry has solved and conquered in the book, this career path is quite fitting for him. In the muggle world, an Auror would be equivalent to an F.B.I. or C.I.A. agent, which would make a dual major of criminal justice and forensic science appropriate for Harry.

Never Longbottom: Environmental Science

Nevel did not excel in a lot of his classes at Hogwarts, but he excelled in herbology, the study of plants. Because of Nevel's passion of studying plants, environmental science is where he would be the most successful.

Ron Weasley: Business

In the series, Ron was often underestimated and underrated. He was constantly compared to his successful brothers and of course Harry, his best friend. With a career in business, Ron would have the opportunity to prove to everyone how intelligent he is and how successful he can really be.

He often came up with some good ideas in the books, such as using the basilisk fang to kill a Horcrux. With this strategic mind of his, Ron can be very successful in the business world.

Luna Lovegood: Journalism and English Literature

Luna's father is the editor for the wizard newspaper "The Quibbler", and she is a very spontaneous girl with a creative mind. In the muggle world, Luna could have a career in journalism or maybe even writing her own novels. You never know what could happen with Luna Lovegood, but with her creative and spontaneous mind, a career in this major would be very fitting for her.

Hermione Granger: Pre-medical Studies

This was a very hard one, because Hermione excelled in every class at Hogwarts, (except for divination, but nobody's perfect right?).

Hermione would be great at a lot of things in the muggle world; she would probably be an excellent lawyer or teacher, but I really believe that Hermione Granger has a passion for helping others and making them better, so I personally believe she would be a better doctor than anything else. Plus, becoming a doctor requires A LOT of schooling, and no one can take on school like Hermione can.

Ginny Weasley: Athletic Training

Ginny was a Quidditch star at Hogwarts, and even went on the play professionally afterward. She had a lot of passion for athletics, and I believe she would want to still be apart of it after her retirement.

As an athletic trainer, Ginny would be able to help young athletes get back on their feet after an injury. Since she would still be around the field, she would enjoy her work, and I think she will excel at it.

Draco Malfoy: Political Science

The Malfoy family was very into wizard politics and did not accept any Muggle-born wizards. Draco was very expressive about this with his peers at school, judging Hermione and many other Muggle-borns on a regular basis. It is hard to say what Malfoy would do in office, but politics are something he is passionate about, and that is all that matters.

I would love to see how successful the "Harry Potter" characters would be with these muggle career paths. All of them did so many amazing things in the wizarding world, they would probably be just as successful if they were muggles.

I would like to thank the genius herself: J.K. Rowling, thank you for bringing all of these inspirational characters into the world. You have brought joy to all of our lives by putting your ideas on paper. Thank you J.K.R, for creating Harry Potter.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
