New Year's Eve happens to be one of the most exciting nights of the year. Perhaps, it's because it gives people a chance to break their bad habits, and create good ones. Or maybe, it has to do a little more with all the fun parties, laughs, and countdowns. Regardless of how you spend it, what we're here to discuss involves all the different type of people who celebrate the holiday.

These are the 10 types of people on New Year's Eve:

1. The Time Reporter

This person constantly keeps their eyes on the clock, and feels the need to report the time.... like, every 2 minutes.

2. The Overly Excited One

They're the most hyped up person in the room, and cannot stop talking about their New Year's resolutions. They absolutely love New Year's Eve, and can't wait to hug it all out once the clock hits midnight.

3. The Glitter Lover

New Year's Eve has somehow become an excuse for people to wear a full bedazzled outfit. This is probably the one holiday where it's acceptable, but still, you'll always find that one person that takes glitter to a whole other level.

4. The Annoying Jokester

This is the person that will say "Last time I showered was last year!" or "I remember 2015 like it was yesterday!" right after the clock strikes midnight. Bravo, you're hilarious.

7. The Careless One

This is the person that would rather be sleeping than partying. They simply do not care about welcoming the new year in any special way.

8. The Romantic

This is the person fixated on the idea of having a New Year's kiss. All they care about is spending the evening with that special someone, or even with someone they don't know! Regardless of who it is, they simply want to have a magical, fairytale moment.

9. The "Independent Woman Who Don't Need No Man"

This is more specifically regarding the girl who could care less about romance, and will insist on celebrating New Year's with her friends. She doesn't believe in the New Year's kiss tradition, or at least that's what she says.

10. The Miserable One

This person is the one who's either sad that they year is coming to an end, the one who feels the pressure of finding a New Year's resolution, or the one who can't find a date to the party.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
