To those of you that are currently in college or have ever been in college, you know that finals week is one of the most stressful times in a student's life. You are trying to make sure that if you have a good grade in a class, you don't bomb the final and ruin your grade.
Or if you are on the border, you are trying to make sure that you can do well enough to bump your grade up. So either way, no matter the situation, every college student is in the library and studying
Some professors are really nice, and they will bump your grade if you went to their class and you did your assignments and studied and actually put in the effort. Then we all know that there are other professors that will let your grade sit at a 89.9 and won't bump it because they apparently hate their job. This is why I like to use Rate My Professor before I make my class schedule or ask my sorority sisters who they took for certain classes.
If you are so fortunate as the students at my university, we have the wonderful snack cart lady who brings snacks all around the floors of the library late at night so you have some food while you are slaving away over your chemistry, anatomy, or English paper.
Those snacks are wonderful when you have been in the library for eight hours and want to leave to get food but won't because you have the perfect spot and you know it won't be there when you get back.
Good luck finding any study rooms during finals week, because we know that the BSMD kids have already booked them all, and we are all out of luck. During finals week, the thought of dropping out and becoming various things that require no college degree will cross your mind.
However, stay in school. It is the best option, although sleep deprivation for the next week is never fun, you can sleep when you're dead, as they say.
Study over time. Definitely don't cram for finals. It's never a good idea. Use the week that you have to study each day instead of starting to study two days before your final. This is easier said than done, but you will do better if you take my advice.
I hope that you make the grades you need on your finals and that you get as much sleep as you can in between your study time. Don't forget to eat! That is important. If you are studying in groups, then send one person with the money so you don't loose your spot.
Then the next time, you can send someone else. Be strategic about your time in the library, and don't take long Netflix breaks. Those are hard to recover from.
Good luck on your finals, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
