It will get easier.

This article is dedicated to the people who think that they're not attractive, not funny, not loved, or not fun to be around, and to the people who think they're weak, failures, or never going anywhere.

Today is May 20, 2016 ... and you're still here.

The point of this article is to try and show to you that you are capable of getting through anything in life and that you are a beautiful majestic person who kicks ass.

People laugh at Millennials a lot, saying that we're just a bunch of babies who complain all the time. It's like our problems aren't real just because people have never experienced things like we have before. So put that on top of the fact that there is a ridiculous amount of pressure to be "perfect" in this generation, and you have the perfect recipe for a delicious mental breakdown.

Some people take life's struggles a little harder than others, and there is nothing wrong with that. These types of people, however, are afraid. They're fears are not necessarily rational, but fears none the less. I know this because I used to have, and still have, these kinds of fears.

In college, and the real world, life tends to pile up on you. And once things pile up too high, there is usually an avalanche. I'll give you an example. When I first started to struggle, I was dealing with problems regarding girls. Then that made my school work struggle, which meant I couldn't work as much, which meant I had no money, which meant I couldn't go out with my friends. Now it is not always these issues that make people struggle, but it is usually the formula for a breakdown.

I'm going to dive into a few of the big issues.

1. Relationships

I thought that I was a piece of garbage because the girl I liked decided to stop liking me. I thought that I had to look at myself the same way she looked at me, and because of that I hated myself.

2. School Work

Because I hated myself, I stopped going to class. Of course my grades started to suffer, which meant when I did get out of bed, I was only doing so to study.

3. Work

Because I had so much school work to do, I was not able to go into work and therefore I was not able to make money or see my friends that I worked with.

4. Social Life

Because I could not work, I had no social life simply because I had no money.

So as you can see, there is a lot to get down on about yourself. And each problem seems to create many more problems that make you feel like you're life is spiraling out of control. However, I am here to tell you that it does not last forever. Like I said, I went through it and still go through it from time to time. You just have to take life one day at a time. If you fall down, get back up again and again and again. The only time you will truly fail is when you stop trying to succeed. Now I know it is a lot easier said than done, but you will get there.

I'm always here for all of you if you ever need someone to talk to about this kind of stuff.

Hang in there, kid.

Yours Truly,

Ryan Jordan

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
