I'm a total Halloweenie. By definition (well urban dictionary that is) a Halloweenie is "a person who loves Halloween above all holidays." When Halloween comes around, I rejoice! Halloween to me is my Christmas, Black Friday, and birthday all in one. Yes, Halloween is more important than my own birthday. Why do you ask? Because of these reasons.
5. Haunted Houses.
My absolute favorite thing about Halloween is peeing your pants after going through a haunted house. I don't know about you, but whenever I go into a haunted house I think about the probability of an actual murderer being employed as one of the actors in the maze. It just makes the experience so much more invigorating by knowing that there's a chance of dying at any second. Hopefully you watched your fair share of slasher films to avoid obvious death. Stick to your friends ... unless one of them is about to get murdered. Then definitely run away as fast as you can.
So before you set off into a haunted house, wear a diaper.
4. Pumpkin???
Yes, Fall is here and yes everything is pumpkin. Pumpkin bacon, pumpkin coffee, and pumpkin toilet paper. That seven dollar pumpkin spice latte is pretty good right? Or that pumpkin popcorn, pumpkin pancakes, and pumpkin pasta. I'm starting to hate the letter P in the alphabet. But for many Halloweenies out there, pumpkin pie just might be the biggest sliver of happiness they look forward to.
3. Candy.
Halloween for Halloweenies is the perfect excuse to eat a ton of candy. Sour Patch Kids is my vice man. If I have any chance of eating them without the guilt afterward, I'm taking it. I love going door to door, asking for free candy from all the neighbors I've never bothered to speak to. But tonight is different. It's Halloween, so hand it over bud. And yes, I'm 20 years old.
Don't worry about the dentist ...
2. Halloween Town and Hocus Pocus.
Come ON. Tell me those two movies aren't the best movies ever made. Well maybe not the best, but definitely the best Halloween movies ever made. Seeing the Cromwells and the Sanderson sisters go head to head with each other in the epic crossover movie "Halloween Pocus" was incredible. Just kidding. A guy can dream right?
1. The Fall.
Fall is the ultimate experience. I only have like 80 more Falls left, so I'm definitely living it up as long as I can. "Fall" is kind of general, but I needed to put it to cheat. Apple picking, flannels, pumpkin carving, hay rides, cardigans, corn mazes; I literally cannot! Fall is the best season by far. If you think not, then can you like, not?
