With the excitement of Halloween coming to a close, here are some reasons why you should still be PUMPED about the rest of the year.


1. Candy discounts

Alright, this is the most obvious reason that November 1st is the bomb.com. Not only do you get to eat all the sweets left over from trick-or-treaters, but the amount of post-Halloween candy you will buy is sure to give you diabetes...in the best way, of course.



2. Your pets can love you again

Yeah, it's really funny when you make Fido wear that Yoda costume, but deep down you know he resents you for it.



3. No more costumes/ Halloween parties

Sure, dressing up for Halloween and going to parties can be fun, but it's also kind of a hassle. Not to mention getting asked what costume you're going to wear every five minutes. Sigh.



4. You can FINALLY listen to Christmas music

Not that you weren't already, but now you no longer have to hide out in a closet while quietly singing along to "I'll be Home for Christmas" and crying to your cat...just me? ...alrighty then...


5. Decorations!!!

Goodbye mummies, hello jolly, slightly creepy animatronic Santa! After October 31st stores flip the switch from scary to merry in a nanosecond. If you weren't already in the holiday spirit, you certainly are now.

6. Christmas shopping

Finding gifts for your friends and family is really exciting. Getting everyone the perfect gift you know they'll love, the thrill of shopping online...Then you remember you actually need money if you want to buy anything.

Better start saving up.
