Guy Fieri is my favorite celebrity. Ever.

I remember watching him on the Food Network with my mom when I was a kid on the golden piece of television that was "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." His pizzazz and exuberant enthusiasm for all things sweet and salty created a special place in my heart for him and his iconic spiky blonde hairdo. My love for Guy Fieri (he's one of those people you simply cannot call by just their first name) has only blossomed with time. Now, I find myself Snapchatting my friends every time I see him on reruns or pass by one of his chain restaurants.

I know my love for Guy Fieri may not make sense to the average person, but here's 11 reasons why you should think Guy Fieri is literally the best human to walk the face of this Earth.

1. He just has a way with words.

With catch phrases like "we're riding the bus to Flavortown," and "this is gangsta," how can you not fall for his charming vocabulary?

2. He inspires the best Halloween costumes.


3. He takes his talents beyond the kitchen.

Though he is famous for shows like "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," "Ultimate Recipe Showdown," and "Guy's Big Bite," Guy Fieri also spent a short run as the host of "Minute to Win It." He graced the show that made average people think they were worth something if they can complete meaningless tasks with his presence before being replaced by Apolo Ohno-you-didn't-replace-Guy Fieri!


4. His fashion sense is second to none.


5. His haircut is the one stagnant thing in my life.

In a cross between the frosted tips that adorned the heads of boy bands in the 90s and the infamous spiked locks elementary school boys rocked back in the day, Guy Fieri's hair is one thing I can count on to remind me of the good ol' days. It is my rock in hard times.


6.He knows his way to (clog) my heart.

Heat stopping greasy goodness is always in the menu for Guy Fieri. Whether you're looking to permanently stop the beating with a triple deep fried oreos, or just want a heart attack scare, Guy knows just the place to take you.

7. He always strives for greatness...

9. He's the perfect combination of food and fun.

My mother always told me not to play with my food, but Guy Fieri tells me otherwise. His crazy antics and naturally hilarious personality makes watching him the highlight of my day. I get to check out some funky foods with a super cool guy; what more could you ask for?

10. The price to hang out with him for a day is $100,000

I can barely get my friends to hang out with me even if I offer them homemade cookies. Guy Fieri literally has people paying to chill with him. You can't make this stuff up.

11. From his masterful tastebuds to his perfectly timed jokes, Guy Fieri is as close to perfect as any person could ever hope to get.
