Follow these steps, and you'll be good to go.

With festival season in full swing, you’re going to want to be fully prepared to make the most of an epic weekend.

1. Stay Hydrated.

Festivals are fun. Really fun. And dehydration can be your worst nightmare. You could end up missing all of your favorite bands while sitting in the med tent. That is #nofun.

2. Wear Sunscreen.

If you are pale like me (ginger problems), the sun is your worst enemy. Spending hours on end in the hot summer sun will result in a nasty burn that will leave you wanting to cry and bathe in aloe. So lather up in that SPF.

3. Wear comfortable shoes.

During festivals, you spend hours on hours on your feet. So instead of wimping out due to pain and sitting down during a great band, plan ahead and dance the entire day without being uncomfortable.

4. Plan your stage lineup.

The stages at festivals tend to be located extremely far apart, and you don’t want to miss your favorite artists. Plan ahead by seeing where your favorite bands are playing and make a notes page in your phone to keep up. Most festivals have apps that you download and have the lineup right at your fingertips.

5. Take advantage of all the noms.

Most festivals have tents on tents on tents full of local food that is truly delicious. Try out the different options they have, and you might find your new favorite food (or a cool foodie Instagram).

6. Do not take a pill in Ibiza.

And no. Avicii did not think you were cool. Seriously.

7. Study up on the set lists.

Nothing makes music more enjoyable than being able to sing and dance along with whoever is playing. Just google the bands beforehand and listen to their sets a few times, and you’ll be golden. Spotify will definitely come in handy so you don’t drain your bank account on iTunes.

8. Document the experience.

I’m not saying to miss out on everything going on in front of you, but snap some sick pics or a short video while you’re there. Not only can you get a sick Instagram, but you can also have all of the memories right there with you forever. (Just don’t have a 100-second-long snap-story)

9. Don’t be afraid of listening to random bands.

Sometimes your favorite bands don’t line up back to back. Wander around and see who else is playing during those time blocks. You might stumble upon a silent disco or new band you have never heard before and find your new favorite song.

10. Take in the moment

This may be cliché, but do not let those three or four days go to waste. Take advantage of everything going on at the festival. You’ll never have a chance to get that time back, so go be adventurous.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
