When thinking about marriage, you may think about the boyfriend you’re currently with or the boy you sit next to in physics. When it comes to a relationship having the thought, “I will marry them.” You talk about babies and a family of your own, you think about situations you want to be in with them, whether it be intimate or not. Maybe you’re on the other side of the fence, maybe you know what your dream guy looks like but you haven’t found him yet. We fill our hearts with things the devil can give us, which is satisfaction. It comes when we become impatient or reckless, giving up on God because he hasn’t worked his “magic” yet. We fill our heart with boys who we think we like, but when in return they give you compliments and gestures to make you feel wanted. You fall into sin when you start to act upon your actions of how a girl should treat a boy.
Your Lord has a man for you. Everyone has a someone; you weren’t put upon this earth to be alone. Maybe you're the odd girl out with no boyfriend and you feel no purpose; let's say you're at an age where many of your girlfriends are getting married and you're in the background watching and waiting for your day to be the same. You feel alone, yet you have a man with you for always. I don’t know if you forgot, but his name is Jesus. The man who created you to be his image. He created you to be perfect in his ways. Psalm 23:6, “Why would I fear the future? For I am being pursed only by your goodness and unfailing love.”
We fear the future because we fear the feeling of being alone, abandon, nothing. However, through it all we have The Lord who promises us a future, hence why there is no reason for us to be afraid. He has the instructions it’s our your job to follow. We make grocery lists of who the perfect man is, and your future someone has a list the same or maybe different; lists don’t matter because either way God promises to find us all someone. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5. He has it all in paper; don’t ignore something that he has planned for you. While waiting, don’t take what is yours; express what you have before it is given to you. Express what you have … yet feel blessed when your perfect man does comes to you.
Philippians 1:9, "I pray that your love for each other will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in your knowledge and understanding."
