If 'Grey's Anatomy' Characters Were SEC Schools

Before everyone leaves or dies.

If 'Grey's Anatomy' Characters Were SEC Schools

Each school in the SEC basically has their own personality. With their fan base, and their football team and all the rivalries, their personalities shine through, and have some comparisons to those in Shonda Rhimes' "Grey's Anatomy."

1. University of Florida – Meredith Grey

UF is one of the top ranked schools in the SEC, and Meredith was definitely one of the top interns in her class, and now one of the best attendings. Gator fans are loyal and even when things get tough they still hang on, just like Meredith.

2. University of Georgia - Miranda Bailey

Bailey is one of the top surgeons at Seattle Grace, and despite her size she still knows how to be loud and motivate others like the Bulldogs.

3. University of Tennessee - George O'Malley

O’Malley was the underdog of the intern class, but he embodies a true Volunteer. I mean, he died because he got hit by a bus trying to save a woman. Even if things didn’t work out for O’Malley he was loyal to his friends and always kept pushing forward to get to the top. The Vols have their loyal fans no matter what happens, and they’re working their way to be one of the top schools in the SEC.

4. University of Alabama - Derek Shepard

Let’s be honest…Alabama wins everything. Shepard was one of the top neurosurgeons in the world and he was the top dog at Grey-Sloan Memorial. He has tons of fans, but he lets it get to his head sometimes.

5. Vanderbilt - Cristina Yang

Vanderbilt is a top private school, and the top of the SEC GPA-wise. Vandy has a lot of smart people and a great medical program. It’s pretty hard to get into without a solid GPA, so it’s only fitting for Yang.

6. University of Arkansas - April Kepner

Arkansas is one of the most southern states, and Kepner is from the middle of nowhere where she grew up on a farm, so she belongs in somewhere in the country. Arkansas is not one of the top schools, but like Kepner, they still try their hardest.

7. Auburn University - Lexie Grey

Auburn has a lot of smart students with a high GPA average, which Lexi perfectly fits into with her photographic memory. She gets competitive with the older surgeons, like Auburn gets with Alabama, but she likes to stay optimistic. Lexi is loyal to her family roots, like Auburn fans are even when they aren’t winning.

8. Louisiana State University - Mark Sloan

LSU embodies the perfect party school and place to have fun, especially being so close to New Orleans. Mark is always up for a party or any chance he has to meet women. LSU gets a little cocky about their image, and Mark Sloan is no different.

9. University of Mississippi - Alex Karev

Ole Miss is a big school with a lot of pride. Even though Karev had a tough past, he accepted it and took pride in where he ended up. He becomes one the best at the hospital, but he loves to party and won’t pass up a crazy night. Ole Miss can get a little crazy, and they live to compete against the other schools. Karev loves the competition from the others, and he wants to be the best.

10. Texas A&M - Richard Webber

Texas A&M has some of the best sports teams, and they pride themselves on a lot of their traditions. Webber was the chief at Seattle Grace after doing his residency there, but steps down to get back in the surgery game. He remains a tradition at Grey-Sloan Memorial, and will always be one the best surgeons the hospital has.

Well...now choose which school you wanna go to.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
