Before you begin thinking about sororities and fraternity groups, I want to remind you this article is not about Greek life but about how Greeks in Greece live healthy style.
We are a few days in 2016 and many of us have chosen to not make resolutions about healthy food and diet because it always end up with temptation of fast food. No, go back and make these resolutions. It's not too late to start with healthy life style and a new diet that is good for your body and stomach. Back in high school, I learned that college food can be bad for your health if you don't watch what you eat and yes I'm talking about you. I know you can't resist avoiding the delicious smell of pizza nor the tasty fries. For that reason, I have reached to the result that Mediterranean is the only good food for your health:
1. Always start with a salad
Starting with something light won't hurt your stomach. Greek salad has everything: feta cheese, olives, tomato, cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt
2. Cheese, Yogurt, and Hummus

This is the typical snack for Greeks during brunch, and dinner. It can be served with bread (preferred by Greeks) or chips (preferred by Americans. They have great taste and can be a fulfilling snack
3. Olives
Whether it was green, black, or maroon. Nothing taste better than a Mediterranean sour and salty olives. Mediterranean countries have many olive trees because it's a blessing dating back to Palms day when Jesus entered Jerusalem riding the donkey
4. Desserts
What a great way to end your meal with desserts. Mediterranean countries sell churros in small shops in corners of streets. It's a way to sweeten your day.
Live the Greek way not only in outfit and organization but also in their healthy life style.
Go healthy! Go Greek!
