There you hang every morning

Every night I see you

Arms around your shoulders

Your cackling grin spread to my smile

Both child and woman so thin

But not as thin as you'd become

The drinks in the picture would go

Unnoticed if the story was not told

But if only that daiquiri would been

Your last sip of alcohol or

If this hug would of saved you or the cigarettes

You're body would betray you

Weakness overcome you

I stood by your side as your brain

Wasted away
