Graduation is right around the corner and if you’re anything like me, well you have no idea how to decorate your cap. Decorating caps is a tradition that goes back, I’m guessing decades. But in all honesty, I’m not sure when it started but I’ve always seen people do it. So, we’ll just go with decades. Searching Pinterest endlessly gets old after a while. How do they get their caps so perfect? Well, that’s what I’m here for, to give you the best graduation cap decoration tips for any major.

Finance/Business

Obviously, this had to go first since it’s my own major and this is giving me ideas. But for finance or really any business degree, anything with the word business in it works perfectly, as you can see in the pictures.

Psychology

This one is pretty easy since you can just write psyched pretty and you’re good to go!

Nursing

You can go wild with this one! You can add really anything and just put ‘BSN” somewhere on the cap and you’re good to go.

Teaching

Really just put anything with an apple or your last name. And then you’re good to go!

Biology

For this one, since most of you are going into the medical field, you can add Dr. or future Dr. Or you can really decorate it however you want since you’ll still have another graduation to attend that you can go all out with your cap. "Grey's Anatomy" quotes are always a perfect go-to though because there's no better doctor than Derek Shepard.

English

Any funny pun that has to do with books is always a winner in my books, get it books. But seriously that the way to go for English.

Music

Just plop a music note on there somewhere and you’re good to go. And maybe add your instrument too, just to really make sure people know that you’re a music major and don’t just really like music notes.

Any Major

This one is my personal favorite, the "thank you, mom and dad." Because honestly if it wasn't for my amazing parents I wouldn't be here right now.

So here you have them, the best graduation cap decorating ideas for various majors. Obviously, there are a ton more majors, but these are top ones that I’ve seen on Facebook and Instagram. These are just ideas to help get those creative juices flowing, but the final design is all up to you. So, get your glitter and your hot glue gun and get ready to craft because the graduation cap is the final college project one must do. Happy crafting!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
