Dearest Roomies,
How does one effectively sum up sophomore year, living with four girls in a house? The memories were endless, the laughter always flowed, and the late night adventures were never in short supply. Although we are all excited for summer, it’s sad to say goodbye. I’ll be visiting several times this summer just to catch up and get a few more adventures in so be ready.
Over the course of the last year (and freshman year) you all became like my little extended family. You were my sisters that were always up for a good time. If I asked anyone else to start painting a cooler with me at 11 at night they would look at me like I’m crazy, but that was the beauty of our friendship. You were the people that were already jumping in the car planning out our designs 10 minutes later. The coolers may still be unfinished, but the night was well spent.
A house where dessert is for dinner, Topperstix are regular and PJs are the outfit of Sunday’s felt a lot more like a home with you to share it with. You don’t judge when we post pictures together with cheesy captions or when someone has a little too much fun on a weekend. You all adore the ridiculous videos of the 4 of us with me long past the time we probably should. Reading through hilarious old conversations is normal and I love it. I loved all of it with all of you.
To say I was lucky to find you and get you as roommates is the biggest understatement I can think of. The support we have for one another is something special and our bonds are undeniable. As our year together wraps up with stressful finals and no food left in the fridge, I can’t help but look back and smile. As hard as this year got at times, there were twice as many happy memories to cover it up. I have you all to thank for bringing me out of my shell, helping me learn that I love to dance, and for getting me through college with the best memories and biggest smile. The three of you are truly amazing humans and I know will be my friends long after we finish these four years.
Cheers to us on finishing another year with minimal catastrophes. Thanks for being my people and agreeing to live with me for another year. Junior year can only go up from here and I can’t even imagine the fun we will have.
I love you each to the moon and back.
