I am going to be honest,

I like you a lot…

Wonder if there is an empty spot,

In your heart for me to fill,

Wounds I could heal,

From your heart being misused,

Ran over, beaten up, and bruised,

By the dudes,

Who treated you disrespectfully and rude,

That never cared about your feelings,

And never willing,

To make a sacrifice or killing,

To know the beautiful person you really are…

But I am willing,

To take any chance that is given,

For me to sit down and listen,

Take notes and pay attention,

To know the beautiful person you really are…

I want to know what makes you happy…

What makes you cry…

What makes you angry…

I do not care if we never have an opportunity to be together,

I just want to be your friend,

Someone you need whenever,

That will stand in stormy weather,

And never leave your side for nothing…

However, may I ask you something?

Could we at least be friends?

If I could not win,

The position to be anything else…
