GO CHI O!
Chi Omega Fraternity

Chi Omegas have always tried to break the norm of recruitment videos. Because, in a society where Greek life is thought to be all about partying and trouble, what good does a recruitment video that features girls dancing in binkins? no good.

These recruitment video's feature girls doing incredible things. As a sorority woman, you know that even if you don’t have the physical insignia on your shirt, you are always wearing your letters. We are advocators of Chi Omega always-- in everything that we do, we are representing our beloved fraternity (technically, Chi Omega is a women’s fraternity). This idea encourages us to be the best version of ourselves always and to strive so that we may show society the honor and goodness of being a Chi Omega.

Our sisters are shown at charity events, exploring the world, and promoting our philanthropy-- Make A Wish! This is what Greek Life is about. It’s about venturing outside of what you know, valuing education and charity, and discovering people who will not only become your best friends but the sisters who will encourage you to grow and achieve your dreams.

SO GET HYPE ABOUT BEING A CHI O!

Shoutout to our sisters at Indiana University for showing us how blessed they are to be sisters:

Shoutout to our sisters at the University of Colorado Boulder for showing us that there can be a balance between academics and social events:

Shoutout to our sisters at the University of Arizona for showing us the value of family:

Shoutout to our sisters at the University of Washington for showing us that personal development, scholarship, campus activities, service and friendship are what make up Chi Omega's:

And lastly, shoutout to our sisters at the University of Missouri for showing us that sisterhood is so much more than just wearing letters:

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
