For All The Times You Wanted To Give Up And Become A Stripper

You already throw yourself in a circle at parties, might as well throw yourself in a circle for money.

Life is especially hard when you’re a working, full-time student. From all the stress and responsibilities, you just want to give up. You start asking yourself what you’re doing wrong because everything you do is not working out. You wonder why you can’t seem to get an A on a test no matter how hard you study. Therefore, it is incredibly difficult to stay motivated in school when you’re failing. Besides that, you are tired of dragging yourself to work because you feel overworked and unappreciated. These looming thoughts have just completely physically, mentally, and emotionally drained you. After all these years, you wish you had it easier. So what is the solution? If you’re feeling whimsical and adventurous, you could drop everything and become a stripper because despite the negative connotations that strippers have within society, there may be some positives of choosing this type of lifestyle. I've come up with a pros and cons list to choosing to be a stripper over a college student.

Pros:

1. You won’t have to go to school anymore.

I mean you can still go to school, but instead of having to go, it would be more of a choice to go. If you still decide to attend school, at least you’ll know it will be paid for!

2. Your financial burdens will be lifted.

All your bills would be paid for! Thank God.

3. You’ll be the center of attention after being forgotten.

You get a stage that allows you to show your moves and slay on.

4. You’ll get strong because you’re technically exercising.

Now, you don’t have to pay for a gym membership. Instead, the “gym” is paying you and you’ll look awesome doing it!

5. You can have a profession you can hide.

Literally, you’ll have two personas: classy lady by day and strong femme fatale by night.

6.You’ll find and network with new types of people.

More friends and more clients means more opportunities!

7.You’ll get to experience diversity.

8.You’ll have more money to spend on what you WANT and not what you need.

9. Stripping could be fun.

You have the freedom to show who you are and showcase what you can do. Besides, you’re pretty much dancing all night long to good music in a lively atmosphere while getting paid for it. Already doing that in the own comfort of your home and social functions, so why not do it for a job?

10. Finally, you’ll have a new found confidence in yourself because most of your problems will be solved.

You no longer have to worry about work, school, or money. Your audience will praise you for who you are. No problems and being looked to as a goddess, what is more to love?

Cons:

1. You’ll be judged.

Everyone is judged, so being judged for being a stripper is no different.

2. You'll have money.

You'll have so many singles that your wallet won’t be able to close. Oh, how horrible..

All in all, stripping never looked so good because the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Of course we all get in those slumps where we want to give up. We have failed so many times. Hence, we try to find a place where we may be able to shine. That’s why some of us thought of stripping in the first place. No matter what, you know yourself more than anyone else. If you think it is a probable solution, temporary or permanent, it’s up to you. No one’s judging around here. You do you!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
