When I was younger, I always wanted a puppy. I never really knew what kind of puppy I wanted, but would always look at Labradors and Golden Retrievers. About 10 years ago, I finally got a puppy! A German Shepherd puppy to be exact. After spending the last nine and a half years with my German Shepherd, Duke, I never want to own any other breed. He is my best friend and my "brother"! Dogs are really the best friend you can have, but there is just something special between a girl and a German Shepherd.

When you give a girl a German Shepherd... she will always feel safe.

German Shepherds are always on duty. You may think that at times they are out cold sleeping, but their ears are always up and they are always alert of their surroundings. I always feel safe with my Duke around!

When you give a girl a German Shepherd... she will have a friend to talk to.

Whoever said that diamond are a girl's best friend never owned a German Shepherd! No matter what the situation is, they are always there to listen to you talk. Sometimes you just need to sit and talk with your German Shepherd. Sometimes I think Duke is sleeping when I talk, but his ears move so I know he is listening somewhat!

When you give a girl a German Shepherd... she will always have a best friend.

I never imagined dogs could be so loved until I got my German Shepherd. He is honestly like my baby and my best friend. I am always posting pictures and videos of him everywhere! I could not ask for a better companion!

I am so glad to have a friend like Duke! Giving a girl a German Shepherd is the best thing that can happen. They will always make you feel safe, loved, and bring happiness to you! I personally think that owning a German Shepherd is better than owning any diamonds. There are times that I just find myself looking at pictures of my dog and smiling. German Shepherds are more than just working dogs, they are a loyal best friend, family member, and companion! If you ever have any doubt about getting a German Shepherd, don't, just get one! You will not regret it at all.
