Gilmore Girls Is Coming To A Netflix Near You

That's right! The TV show that every teenage girl watched growing up is now on Netflix. Now you have every episode, every season, at the touch of a button. The WB television show, Gilmore Girls, was the epitome of the early-to-mid 2000s. Here are the top reasons you know that you are obsessed...

1. You know every word to "Where You Lead"

This Carole King song is classic...and I know every word. #noshame

2. You tried to read the same books as Rory did

I'll admit it, I totally tried to read Anna Karenina at like age 12 while watching the show. Worst decision ever.

3. Paris Gellar was always on-point

Paris is my spirit animal. She was the neurotic frenemie of Rory, but by the end of the show's seven season run she was by far my favorite character. Her sassy comebacks and unrelenting sarcasm were prime.

4. You have dreamed of eating at Luke's Diner

And you totally already have your exact order picked out.

5. You realize that you will never live up to being Rory Gilmore

And that is okay. Rory Gilmore was top in her class, had an awesome social life, and had an adorable bf (Hello Dean Forester). I have no clue how she did it.

6. We all wished that we could have a love affair like Luke and Lorelai.

It all began with their quick quips at one another and blossomed from a beautiful friendship into an even better relationship. Sorry Christopher, but Lorelai was always meant to be with Luke!

7. We all wished we had a BFF like Sookie

She was there for Lorelai through thick and thin. She always knew the right thing to say, especially when it came to Lorelai's love life. Plus, she was a fabulous cook and hilarious!

8. #TeamLogan

*SPOILER ALERT* The ending of the series left us with no satisfaction! Rory did not end up with Logan or any boy for that matter. And honestly, Logan was the best out of all of them. Dean was a jerk after Rory lost her virginity to him (plus, he was married for goodness sake!) and Jess was a smug trouble maker who left Rory behind the first time, what's to say he wouldn't do it again? Logan was a real man and loved Rory for who she was, despite his parent's misgivings.

9. We all wanted to live in Stars Hollow

I always wanted to live in this New England town. Everyone knew everyone. Basically everyone was one large family. They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and Lorelai had the help of most Stars Hollow citizens.

10. You always wanted a close relationship with your mom

Lorelai and Rory's relationship was the stuff of mother/daughter legends. They weren't just mother and daughter, they were best friends. Their sassy, fast-talking quips and love for The Godfather Pt. III made them one of the most beloved pairs ever (at least in my book).

Well there you have it. Gilmore Girls is a classic and it helped teach me many life lessons as well as crack me up. Having this show on Netflix was the best decision...ever!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
