It's that time of year again: the time where sleigh bells are ringing, presents are wrapping and everyone is singing "Deck the Halls." That's right, it's Christmas time! Now, as you're all scrambling to buy presents, try to think about this; where can I buy cool presents where the proceeds go to a good cause? Never fear cause I got you covered. Here is a list of perfect presents for all those wonderful people in your life, that give back.
1. Love Your Melon
Love your melon is this amazing organization where for every hat sold, one is given to a child with cancer. The proceeds are donated to childhood cancer initiatives, Cure search and the Pinky Swear Foundation. Last year they successfully sold enough hats to give a hat to every kid with cancer in America. The baseball caps and beanies are very cute too.
2. The Shine Project.
This amazing company uses the proceeds to help underprivileged kids find the funds to be able to get a higher education and go to college. They sell the most beautiful jewelry that ranges from sorority wear to just normal everyday necklaces and bracelets! They sell t-shirts as well, plus I follow them on Instagram and I would highly recommend you do the same. It'll make you so happy, and the woman who runs the organization has the most beautiful family and spirit ever!
3. Sand Cloud Towels.
Now I know it might be a little nippy outside for beach towels, but they can double as a nice tapestry too. Ten percent of the proceeds go to helping marine life so I would say go for it for that beachy person in your life.
4. Out of Print Clothing.
This website sells t-shirts and mugs that make you so happy when you read them, and they also make people happy by donating one book for every item sold to a community in Africa through their partner program Books for Africa.
5. The "Whose Sari Now" Collection
These bangles are sold at Rosen Sammi and they help with the aid of educating young girls who were rescued from the red light districts of India.
6. Glasses 'Karma' Notes
Sold by the UNICEF foundation, these notes donate to the 31 doses of the measles vaccine to places in need all over the world.
7. Buero Skateboards
With a combined love of creativity and preserving the ocean, Buero skateboards create skateboards and sunglasses made from recycled fishing nets that were discarded in Chile.
