GIFs On How To Celebrate The New Year

It’s 2016! This means that you should have resolutions and goals. You should live your life to the fullest. This is a new year, people. It is a clean slate, but we can still laugh at GIFs from last year. So, let’s take a look at GIFs explaining how you should celebrate the new year! Are you ready?

Here are some GIFs on how to celebrate the new year:

1. First, let's bring in the positivity and knock down those "I can'ts."

Sometimes we all get a little bit negative. We all have those thoughts that are nothing but harmful to us. Kick down that negativity and wipe the slate clean.

2. Jump over your obstacles!

Just like this shirtless soccer player is jumping over a flag, you need to jump over your obstacles and overcome your fears or anything you have been struggling with.

3. Put a little boogie in it.

Dance a little. Have a little fun. Shake it off. Don't care too much about little things that don't matter. Enjoy the more important things in life. Put down your phone every once in a while and dance. Go for a run. Enjoy what the world has to offer.

4. Follow DJ Khaled on Snapchat.

If you want to be cool in 2016, go follow DJ Khaled's Snapchat story so that when people tell you to follow him, you will be one step ahead of him. You will understand why the key is constantly being tweeted about. Clearly, he just has the key to success. Can't you tell by the GIF? Is he drowning or just having a good time? I really can't tell.

5. Start running (even if it feels like you are going nowhere).

Running is great for you! A lot of people start working out as a New Year's resolution. What better way to get in shape than running? Am I right? Go for a jog outside or just run on a treadmill. Or, if you are a fat cat, you may find this enjoyable too.

6. Be confident.

Own it. Everyone has something to offer. Also, start accepting what everyone has to offer. Don't judge people until you know them. New year, new you. New year, new them.

7. Pop a bottle (If you are 21, of course).

Why not celebrate all of your accomplishments and successes? Go enjoy yourself a little bit before you start to crack down and get serious about the new year.

8. Eat whatever you want before you start your "diet."

Of course, you do not have to start a diet or eat healthy. Eat whatever you want! But if you are going on a "diet," or as I like to call it, a healthy eating lifestyle, then pig out one last time before you start working towards the resolution.

9. Chill out and relax.

Of course, you can party and get hyped, but you want to relax and chill out as well before the chaos of 2016 comes around.

10. Hug your family and friends!

Your family and friends have helped you have a good year, and they will help you have a good year again! Hang out with them. Show them some love. Give them a hug.

11. Do something crazy.

It is your last chance to do something crazy. Well, not really. But do something crazy, but not too crazy. I think twerking on a football field is a good start. Maybe twerking will be long gone in this new year. That would be good too.

I hope you had a Happy New Year. Hopefully you celebrated well. I would give yourself a little while to celebrate and hop into the new year will enthusiasm and grit!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
