There Is Always Someone There For You At Your Worst Times

Breakups is never something people enjoy going through. We all believe that we will be with that person for the rest of our lives, and when that turns out not to be true, it is devastating. The best way to deal with any breakup is by having the right people around you.

I have a best friend from home who moved to another state and she was always there to reassure me that things will get better, even though she is 2 hours away. We were both going through very similar situations, so we could easily relate to each other. I helped her forget about her breakup, while she helped me get through my messy breakup. My ex turned into a "stalker" and was crazy obsessive, so my friend helped me calm down when I got anxious.

I have another friend from home, who happened to be best friends with my ex at the time. He was going through a breakup as well which I was always there to get him through the mess that he had to deal with. We both started getting anxiety for different reasons. He didn't know how to get over his ex, whom he dated for 4 years, so he got so anxious at random times of the day.

When he was friends with my ex, he would always tell me when my ex planned to come to visit me. Knowing he was trying to do this, I started having an anxiety attack each time. I would start shaking and I would get dizzy. My friend was the only person who was able to make me forget about my ex by talking to me about random things until I calmed down.

I still remember the first time it happened when I was in public. I was at my school's broadcast Thursday night, and I found out my ex was going to try to visit me that weekend when I went home. I couldn't stop shaking and I felt so dizzy to the point I just got up and walked outside to call my friend. After talking to him for about 10 minutes, I was feeling a lot better and could finally focus more.

Don't ever think you are alone when you are going through a breakup. There are always people there for you that love you, whether it is family or friends or both. Do not let breaking up with someone control how you live your life. We all need to realize that things happen in life. Yes, it will be difficult, but that does not mean you won't come out back on top.
