The month of candy, mischief, and all things creepy and scary is almost upon us, folks! October is just around the corner, and we all know what that means... it's almost Halloween.
Personally, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. Fun costumes, free candy and scary corn mazes -- what's more fun than that? There are scary movie nights with friends, bonfire parties and carving pumpkins with silly faces, too. October just has it all. I mean, pumpkin spice latte, anyone?

Anchorhead

"Don't Starve" is a Burton-esque survival action/adventure game created by Klei Entertainment, where the point of the game is in the name. Play as Wilson, a mad scientist, as you try your best to not starve to death while you also avoid being eaten by wolves, freezing to death and going insane.
Expansion packs and "Don't Starve Together," a multiplayer experience are available for download. Available on Steam and Playstation 4 for $14.99.

Mystery Skulls is a music project created by Luis Dubuc. After the released of the group's first album, "Forever," YouTube animator MysteryBen27 was recruited to create the music video to the track "Ghost." The video went viral upon its release in 2014, and Mystery Skulls has contracted MysteryBen27 to create more music videos in what may become an animated series.
With cute characters and a very sad backstory, "Ghost" is extremely catchy and artistically stunning. Follow MysteryBen27 on Tumblr for updates on the creation of his next video.
