Get Over A Breakup In 7 Petty Steps

Breakups suck and there are many healthy ways to get over said breakup, this is not one of those ways. Sometimes pettiness heals the heart faster than being a mature adult, it feels good to take your anger out and let the pain you feel be known. If you follow these steps you will probably feel better or worst depending on your savage level.

First off, welcome back. You are now back single, soltero, unique (yes I did google single in Spanish and French) You're not going to die; single you is just being resurrected.

1. Blow up.

This includes all types of psychical, mental and emotional violence. Let the other person and the world know you are pissed and hurt. These can also be subtweets, Facebook posts (if you want your family to know), Snapchats, Instagram posts or long and hateful text messages.

2. Collect your thoughts and plot.

You may have already gotten all your pettiness out but if you haven't just plot and think that you're going to destroy their life. Let it known that you are not a force to be reckoned with.

3. Unfollow and/or block them

Depending on the type of person you are you can unfollow them so you can't see what they post but they sure as hell see what you're saying and how happy you are (fake it until you make it). Blocking them can also give satisfaction because they won't know what you're saying or doing, if you're happy or unhappy.

4. Do not be alone for the first day or so.

Do not allow yourself to sit and pout in your self misery, keep the anger flowing and complain until your friends want you gone. Go claim their bed for the next couple days.

5. Seem to be the most happiest and glowing individual there is on social media or if they're going to see you anywhere.

Do not give them satisfaction of seeing you broken or sad. You are thriving and getting back on track to live your life.

6. Do something different.

After a breakup I always change my physical appearance in some way, it makes me feel like a new person ready to take on the world alone.

7. Let it go.

After this, you and everyone else has probably grown tired of your consistent pettiness towards that one person. You won, they lose. Now move on to better things and never look back.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
