16 Things Only A True Gamer Understands

All gamers, no matter what type of console, knows exactly how it feels when these situations come up. We all may fight about what system is better, but at the end of the day we all share the same experiences when it comes to just playing the games. So let's see who the real gamers are:

1. When you're in an online lobby and someones internet goes out.

2. When you lag out of nowhere but your internet connection is fine.

3. When you're about to save your progress in the game and it freezes.

4. That moment when you are waiting for a new game to download and it finally does, so you go and load it up and it has in-game downloads too.

5. That messed up moment when your friends won't play with you because you don't have the new DLC or they tease you about not having it.

6. When you know dang well you shot first but somehow you're the one lying on the ground dead.

7. That sick moment when you're just doing your own thing, not messing with anyone, and some random player comes up and kills you out of nowhere.

8. When the people you're doing a mission with suck so you have to keep retrying.

9. That miserable moment when you haven't played in a few days so your first couple of games are atrocious.

10. When you didn't play that one game for a couple of days so when you go back to it you forgot all the moves and there are no tutorials after the first time.

11. That most epic of feelings when you get all of your perks back to back.

12. That God-like moment when not only are you on the top of the leader board but you also get final kill cam.

13. That jerk-off moment when a teammate steals your kill and you don't even get the assist.

14. That gangster moment when you're last alive in the final round, the enemy team still has a few players and you clutch the match.

15. When you go super ninja status hiding, in plain sight, but the enemy keeps walking by you so you sneak up behind them and knife them.

16. Camping.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
