One of my favorite games of all time is Resident Evil 6, which came out on October 2, 2012. I got the game for Xbox 360, which is the best choice of console for a game like this. The entire campaign is multiplayer, which is good because more and more people are playing games with their friends and everyone is hooked on socializing.
The graphics in this game are decent but nothing to be wowed over. They have improved since Resident Evil 5, however. The idea to let players experience four different campaigns from separate character viewpoints was good. The problems I found were that it seemed a bit rushed and the storyline could have been better. The cutscenes altogether never really pulled you in and made you feel it was a great story. But the gameplay itself is the best. The teamwork is amazing. You can't pass certain obstacles without the help of your partner, which is why the game is most fun on Xbox Live rather than playing by yourself.
The game has seven main characters who all cross paths on their way to saving (or destroying) the world from a zombie apocalypse. But all’s well that ends well right?
Also, it still has "Mercenaries" mode, where you can try to meet your goal before time runs out. They added another mode called "Agent Hunt," where you get to play as the Jávo and other mutants trying to kill off the players while they are going through their actual campaign (cool, right?).
The game has a lot more to offer through DLC, but this annoys me. After buying the game you're still expected to pay more money, which is why I think DLC is a rip off. But if you like that sort of thing, go ahead and buy it all because there is plenty of downloadable content for this game.
Overall, this is a very good game. I recommend that all of you fellow zombie killers out there buy this game and check out what’s good even if it isn’t brand new. After you buy this you won't be able to put it down... Until four days later when you've already finished it.
