Dear Future Boyfriend,

I’m glad you took the risk to get to know me. You must be pretty special to be able to break down my walls and get me to open up to you. Thank you for getting me out of my comfort zone. My past relationships have hurt me, I’m trusting you with my heart – please don’t break it.

Thank you for getting past my resting bitch face and getting me to smile. People’s first impression of me is usually: “she looks mean” or “why doesn’t she smile more?” The brave few that are able to get past that get to see my smile and come to understand why I am the way I am.

I can't wait for all the moments we will share. Where will we go? What will we do? I hope you are the one who makes me rethink everything and leaves me breathless. I can’t wait to get to know what makes you tick and why you have the dreams you have. There will inevitably be bad days. Don’t let them outshine the good ones.

Don’t give up on love, it’s out there – I promise.
