There are so many things to do this Christmas season. Don't be a grinch, get up and celebrate. Here are 25 fun things to do around the holidays, 25 days of Christmas Edition.

Day 1. Decorate the house

After Thanksgiving, pick a nice day and put up your Christmas decorations!

Day 2. Pick out a Christmas tree

Head over to the Christmas tree farm to pick out your christmas tree. Don't forget your tape measure though; you don't want a tree that's too big for your house.

Day 3. Write a letter to Santa Claus

It's time to start making your wish list and letting Santa know how good you have been this year.

Day 4. Visit Santa at the mall

Head over to your local mall and get your picture taken with Santa Claus.

Day 5. Decorate the Christmas tree

From the first decoration to the tree topper, decorating the tree can be super fun and exciting.

Day 6. Build a gingerbread house

Building a gingerbread house can be a fun activity to do together. You could even compete to see who can build the best house!

Day 7. Participate in a Secret Santa

Get together with family and friends and pick a name out of the hat. It's always a good way to be surprised when you finally reveal who your secret santa is!

Day 8. Christmas festivals/ light tours

Whether it is a drive through, or a walk through tour, the lights never fail to amaze.

Day 9. Go shopping

Prepare for the crowds and dive in for a good time christmas shopping. Just remember to be safe!

Day 10. Christmas movie marathon

Sit back and spend the day watching all of your favorite Christmas movies.

Day 11. Decorate your own stocking

Get out that glitter and glue and personalize your own stocking.

Day 12. Go ice skating

Outdoor rinks are starting to open; brush the dust off those old skates and hit the ice.

Day 13. Listen to Christmas music

Turn up your favorite holiday station and jam out!

Day 14. Wrap presents

Wrapping the presents can be a chore, but watching the faces of those who receive them is the greatest gift of all.

Day 15. Have an ugly sweater party

Get together with your friends and throw an ugly sweater party. Making your own sweater, and seeing everyone else's homemade sweater is quite the experience.

Day 16. Drive around and look at the lights

Load up the family into the car and drive around your neighborhood to seek out the best of lights.

Day 17. Play in the snow

The first snowfall of the year is always exciting. Grab you snow boots and mittens and get out there to play. Whether it be snow angels, sledding, building a snowman, or even a snowball fight, playing in the snow is always a good time.

Day 18. Holiday arts and crafts

Holiday arts & crafts are a good way to keep the children occupied, and can even be fun for us adults.

Day 19. Ride on a horse-drawn carriage

It has always been a dream of mine to ride in a horse-drawn carriage. A lot of towns throw holiday strolls, which have free carriage rides. Check one out!

Day 20. Drink hot cocoa

Slip into some pajamas, sip on some hot cocoa, and enjoy the warm drink as you sit back and relax.

Day 21. Bake cookies

Baking and decorating cookies for most people, is a holiday tradition. Sneaking a little bit of cookie dough is always the best part. Who doesn't love warm freshly baked cookies?

Day 25. Watch a holiday parade

From Thanksgiving to Christmas to the New Year's Mummers Parade, watching the parade is something to look forward to.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
