I often find myself wondering and searching for date ideas that can make my boyfriend feel love and appreciated. Here are dates that my boyfriend and I have gone on.

My boyfriend is one of the most thoughtful people when it comes to planning our date nights, so I try to think of dates that I can take him on while doing things that we both enjoy! If your boyfriend is anything like mine, he enjoys the outdoors and sports which makes it easy to plan dates! Although COVID has made it a bit harder, I hope you use these ideas to take your own boyfriend on a date!

Top Golf

If you don't know what Top Golf is, it's an indoor/outdoor driving range that also serves food and alcohol. I mean what more can a man want! The best thing about Top Golf is that you can go in the summer and in the winter, which makes this a date you can go on year-round. Whether you are the type of person that just likes to have fun or a very competitive person, Top Golf has games you can play while golfing such as hitting targets on the course or getting the most amount of points. I'm sure Top Golf is a place that any man would love.

Picnic

This is one of my favorite dates because it's super easy and budget-friendly. All you need for this date is your favorite take out meal or a homecooked meal and a blanket! This is a great date just to be able to catch up with your significant other and to just spend quality time together! Although most picnics are outside, this is an easy date to set up on your living room floor in the winter!

Trying a new recipe together

Last weekend my boyfriend and I found a new pumpkin cookie recipe on Pinterest to get us in the Fall spirit. We had so much fun looking up all the different recipes and then going to the grocery store to get all of the ingredients that we needed! When we got home, it was so nice just to spend quality time together in the kitchen making them! Whether it's a new dinner recipe or a fun seasonal dessert this date is one I highly recommend!

Going to a pumpkin patch or corn maze

This is such a fun date for this time of year! This is a good date that your friends and family can join you on! My favorite tradition in the fall is going to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, picking out the best pumpkin to carve, and then going home to have a dinner with your favorite soups and then having a pumpkin carving contest! Although this is only a date that you can do in the Fall, it makes it even more special that you can only do it once a year!

I hope that you take some of these ideas and use them to spend quality time with your significant other! Remember that the best dates are normally the ones that are cheap and fun! So what are you waiting on, go plan a fun date!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
