Dear Daddy,
I just want to start off by saying that I love you. I am so glad God made you my dad. You have stuck by my side through everything. Through my sickness as a baby, through the hard times we had as a family, and through all the times I rejected you and pushed you away.
I was bitter towards you for not being there like I felt you should be instead of being thankful that you were even there at all. I took your love and dedication for granted. I wronged you and Mom. Daddy, you are a great example of love and sacrifice. You have gone without so Mom, Christian, Levi and I could have more when you could have held onto everything. You have gone through more than I could ever imagine and I admire your courage. You’ve held on when it could have been easier to give up.
I look up to you a lot, Dad. You taught me to stick to what I know and to not let anything get in my way of doing what I want to do. You’ve been my backbone and cheerleader. When times are tough, I know I can count on your advice and wisdom to keep me going. Through that, I know I can do anything, but when it all comes down to it, I know I’ll need my daddy’s help. You are my hero and you always will be. I love you more than life itself and I always will. You are a great husband to Mommy and a great father to Christian, Levi and I.
With love,
Your baby girl, Sarah Nicole
