To You Know Who,

Well, I honestly never thought this would be a thing. When we ended way back in the fallish-wintery months of 2014, I thought that we would never rekindle this friendship. From all of those nasty tweets, text messages and stares, we managed to come together once again and make something beautiful. Before moving forward into this, I just want to say that I'm incredibly happy to have you back in my life. It's been way too long and way too many things have happened. Therefore, this article is something for you to read and I hope that it can paint you a picture of what 2014-2015 (and half of this year), were like for me.

To start off, where we left off was at the Food Town in Red Bank. That place is an absolute shit show and after about a year there, I dipped. In that year there I got closer to Mike from Red Bank (aka Mike Kuck), and I also fell in love for the first time. You never met Angelo, and I guarantee you'd probably hate him but that ship has sailed. Although, when Angelo and I were together I met so many other people. Give and take many of them are not in my life anymore, but I learned a lot of things from each of them. My off roading skills came from Kyle and his stupid Jeep and Jimmy supplied many tips on how to drink "properly". Once that summer was over, I packed up my bags and left from school.

Ramapo is about an hour and twenty depending on traffic, and you most definitely have to come and visit me this year. At school I became who I am today, which is why we're here. It's time for me to give you the low down on who you're neighbor has become. Okay, so while I was there I did some experimenting with drinking and of course smoking; but that will never define me. I'm not a "pot head" or a drunk, but I do like to have fun. I've also met many friends such as my roommate Bri and my suitemates Rya and Mel. Those three are some of my closest friends up at school. I also met a girl named Ally. She actually reminds me of you a lot, which might be odd when you guys meet up but I'm sure you'll like her.

She, like you, has always had my back even in the worst of times. School has been a rough and rocky road for me, but I'm glad that I will be returning with many friends to support me; especially you. Like I've said before, I'm really happy to have you back in my family. Allan's pretty happy too. He misses his adopted children. So, let's keep this going and continue to create something beautiful. I've been over this fighting since it started and I'm ready to share more and more lost memories with you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
