It doesn’t feel like we met a little over a year ago. Think about this, we were complete strangers…weird, right? When we first met, I thought you were crazy but I knew your heart was in the right place. We moved in together as randoms, who just happened to become sisters. You hear the horror stories of random roommate assignments. But then you hear the one in a million, amazing stories like ours, where you find your person.

Thank you, dear, for being exactly who you are. You’re incredibly outgoing, energetic, and have a heart of gold. You’ve helped me in ways, I’m not sure I even understand. You are absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Your strength and perseverance are incredibly valiant and make you the amazing person you are.

Thank you for pushing me to my limits. I came to college wanting to expand myself, and you have helped me every step of the way. Before you, I was shy and scared of new things but now I know that I can do anything because I’ve got you behind me. You’ve encouraged me to reach for the stars and believed in every dream I’ve had, no matter how big or small. You have been my number one fan every day, cheering me on whenever I needed.

Thank you for accepting every crazy, stubborn, and difficult part of me. Even though I come from a rough past, you’ve accepted me no matter what. From being my shoulder to cry on to always listening to me, I appreciate you. It doesn’t matter to you who I was, it only matters who I am and who I will be. You put up with the best and worst parts of me, which gives you a free pass in my life always.

Lastly, thank you for always having my back. I know that no matter how many times I may fall, you’ll always be there to catch me. I am the luckiest best friend out there because I’ve got you by my side. You only have my best at heart and will continuously defend and protect me. My trust is rarely earned, but you my dear, have got it for life. Thank you for being the amazing, awesome person you are and I am so lucky to have you as my partner in crime.
