10 Signs You’ve Found Your Friendship Soulmate

Many of us believe in soulmates. Some believe there is only one person for us, and others believe in multiple soulmates. However, before we find them, we go through many different friendships and learn what we like and don't like in a friendship. Sometimes It doesn't matter how long you know them. When you've found your friendship soulmate, you just know.

1. They're friends with your parents.

They hang out with your parents when they come over. Sometimes they even make plans with your parents without you there, which you aren't too happy about.

2. It’s like time never passed when you hang out.

You may not see each other for months on end, but you don't need to because when you see them after a long time apart, it's like you were never separated.

3. Separation anxiety is real.

Speaking of being separated, it's especially difficult for you to leave them, and you usually get separation anxiety as soon as you leave each other's side.

4. They have clothes at your house... just in case.

You let them borrow your clothes, or you just have them leave clothes at your house because you never know when a casual hang out leads to a sleepover.

5. They know what you’re thinking before you even say it.

They know what you're thinking because of your facial expressions, and sometimes they manage to take your words right out of your mouth. That's just what happens when you know someone so well.

6. You can literally just hang out and do nothing.

You don't need to make elaborate plans everytime you hang out. Your idea of fun may also be laying on the couch doing absolutely nothing because just being in their presence is enough.

7. You don’t get sick of them.

Well, maybe a little. They may annoy you sometimes because you spend so much time with them, but you don't sick of them nearly as much as you would with other people and whenever you get into a fight you make up almost immediately.

8. You can tell them what’s up.

If you're having a bad day or just don't wanna talk or hang out with anyone, you can tell them. They will understand where you're coming from and not bug you about it.

9. They can tell you what’s up.

They know when you're not happy about something, and they'll ask you about it. They're straight up with you and will tell you what you don't want to hear because they only want what's best for you.

10. Everything is an adventure.

Anything from late night drives to get milkshakes or going on a walk can be an adventure.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
