Friendship is one of the greatest joys, basically ever. The only thing that might rival friendship in wonderful-ness is Stranger Things (and Stranger Things 2). Without further ado, here are those two wonderful things together to explain the magic of friendship:
1. When you first meet new friends and find out you have the same interests.
Turns out you and your friend like all the same youtube videos so you get to watch them together.
2. And then you get to be weird together for the first time.
But at this point it's still low-key weird; the real weird is still to come.
3. When you go snack shopping with your friends.
Walking out of the grocery store with unhealthy food like:
4. We all know those loving insults.
Insults are a sign of love. Besides, we only mean them a little bit.
5. When that peer pressure gets too strong.
For instance, your friend wants to do homework but you convince her to go shopping.
6. When you and your friends get to fight battles together.
The team is always stronger together.
7. When you can rely on your friend for anything.
You know they'll pull through for you.
8. You communicate with looks.
When that guy is being annoying but you can't say it out loud.
9. Friends support each other.
And we know they are telling the truth.
10. But not without an equal dose of sarcasm.
11. When your friends are as special as Joyce's lights.

12. And you would do anything for your friends.
Eleven's sacrifice is one of the purest forms of friendship there is.
13. Friends don't lie.
14. Your friends are crazy.
But like, the good kind of crazy.
15. And you have to convince them you're not.
Even though you all are.
16. And after all, you know you and your friends are pretty fabulous.
Anyone with eyes can see that.
17. And we all love each other despite our differences.
Because we have some very important things in common.
We all love our friends and they are some of the best parts of our lives.
