I don't know about you, but me and my best friend are WAY too close. From talking about sickness to sharing secrets, bro sharing jokes, to sharing food, we share EVERYTHING! There is nothing I wouldn't do for her! Here are a couple things that to the outside world would be embarrassing, but it's totally normal with besties.
1. Let you talk about your future wedding when you don't even know that guy's real name.
Most girls will know what I am talking about when I say this; we have all had the biggest crush on a guy without knowing anything about him. We can talk for hours about how dreamy their eyes are or how much we really like their beard. Most people would look at that situation and call you crazy, but your best friend will listen and give you advice on how to actually learn his name.
2. Talk to you about how long it really has been since you've done laundry.
Most people would say they do laundry once a week, but we all know there are times where that doesn't happen. Your best friend is going to be the one to say, "It's okay I haven't done it either."
3. Talk to each other while the other is using the restroom, showering, etc.
This is so common with my two best friends it's not even funny. No matter what is going on if one of us has to use the restroom, the other goes and continues the conversation like nothing ever happened.
4. Going to the store and completely obsessing over something most people find stupid.
I am COMPLETELY obsessed with "The Little Mermaid." I don't know why, but I am. I have three Little Mermaid cups, pants, socks, a blanket, the list continues. Someone who is not my best friend would look at the and say that is crazy but my best friend says, "Hey wear your Little Mermaid pants over here and let's hand out"
5. Your best friend finding items to indulge your obsession
How do you think I obtained all my Little Mermaid items? My best friends go out of their way to find Little Mermaid items because they know it makes me happy. Best friends indulge the crazy because it simply makes you happy.
6. Making sure you don't embarrass yourself or get yourself into trouble
I couldn't even begin to count how many times my best friends have covered my butt. They make sure I get home safely, make sure I do my homework, make sure I actually go to work, they manage my life! Other people don't see why we go to those great lengths, but that's because they're my family, not just my friends.
