I don't know what I would do without you.
Meeting new people, especially in an unfamiliar environment, can be pretty hard. Starting college not knowing anyone and having no support system there with you is one of the most difficult aspects of being a college freshman. Luckily, I met a few people who tolerate my mental breakdowns and my crazy outbursts early in the morning or at 4 am, and I'm lucky to call them some of my best friends.
You keep me sane, and I don't know how.
Thank you for somehow convincing me everything is going to be alright. Bad test grade? You'd comfort me by saying "don't worry, this is a learning experience and you will do better next time". Random crying? You'd find a way to make me laugh until my stomach hurt. Mental breakdown at 4:00 a.m. during finals week? You'd pull an all-nighter along side me and help studying be a little less terrible.
Thank you for always listening to me.
With all the whining and complaining that I probably do, you listen to every second of it and ALWAYS have real feedback for me. You're not just my friend, you're my therapist, my sister, and my partner in crime.
You're learning alongside me, and we're learning from each other.
I have learned so many new and incredible things from you. Being around you makes me a better and more intelligent person. You turn me into a better version of myself, and I couldn't be more thankful. We're both in a new and stressful place in our lives and I couldn't be more excited to go through it with you.
Thank you for becoming so important to me and helping me get though college. I couldn't do it without you.
