I am one of the absolute biggest fans of the decade-long TV series "Friends," and if you haven't watched the entire series, I highly recommend that you do. (Thanks to Netflix, I've watched the series more than once.) However, a few weeks ago, after finishing every season of "One Tree Hill", I set out looking for a new adventure to embark on like many of my other Netflix
Do you remember that person who made that assumption that "Friends" was all in Pheobe's drug influenced head? Well, look it up kiddos because we're about to go on a trip all thanks to @strnks.

The entire series of "Friends" was Phoebe's weird version of the lives of five friends that she shared with them, so "How I Met Your Mother" is the real version of Rachel's, Monica's, Ross's, Chandler's, and Joey's lives. Furthermore, "Friends" ended in 2004 and "How I Met Your Mother" first aired in 2005. This leads me to the implication that Pheobe eventually dies from her drug issues somewhere between 2004 when Rachel gets off the plane, and 2005 when Ted starts telling us how he met his wife. Pheobe's death means we have to move from her drug polluted day dreams to the real lives of the people constantly spending their money on cheap drinks in a popular downtown hangout in New York.
