'Friends' Characters And Where They Would've Went To College

Where did Phoebe go for her undergrad? Or Rachel? Hmm...

'Friends' Characters And Where They Would've Went To College

I think it’s safe to say that college and the TV show "Friends" goes hand in hand. I mean, it’s on Netflix, and even though it’s a '90s show, it’s a classic and one of my favorites! I don’t think it’s possible to get bored with this show as it has so many hysterical and dynamic characters, storylines, and plot twists. So, if we could make each character embody a university across the country, what would they be?

Ross Geller would most definitely be at Princeton University. I mean hey, he’s a professor on the show. Always has to be right. Loves science. Loves learning. Even bought his newborn toys that were educational. Uhm, Ross, they cannot play with a dinosaur figurine at five weeks…sorry buddy!

Rachel Green would definitely be at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I mean, she did work for some big name brands over the course of the show. At the end, she moved to Paris. Rachel definitely had the fashion designer persona about her. After all, Jen Aniston is stunning! Also, she had daddy’s credit card on speed dial…

Monica Geller would be hands down a student at the Culinary Institute of America! She was a chef on the show and claimed she loved food (eating it and cooking it!) So why would she not fit in with the pastry chefs and ritzy people from across the pond?

Chandler Bing would be your typical party boy at any local college! Hanging in the dorms, drinking beer, and trying to pick up hot girls would be his nightly goals. Insert a big emphasis on "trying." Chandler was always the nice guy. Hmm, maybe he’d fit in at Rutgers University. He’d do great amongst the eclectic group and would probably try to have his own comedy radio show.

Phoebe. Who could forget Phoebe Buffay? She would definitely be attending a natural healing school. She would probably be studying herbal medicine, crystals and even have her very own band. Please, just no “Smelly Cat”…can you join a drumming circle instead?

Joey Tribbiani. Oh Joey, Joey, Joey. I bet Joey would attend some prestigious acting school or film school that would allow him to enhance his skills. Think New York Film Academy. Dr. Drake Ramoray, anyone? Oh yeah, and easily a fraternity boy if the acting thing did not work out. “How you doin’…”

I bet we can all say that "Friends" is a guilty pleasure of ours and if you haven’t seen it, you’re seriously missing out! Which "Friends" character would you want to see on campus?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
