Hey ladies,
I miss you terribly. It is beyond difficult being hundreds of miles from you and there are days where all I long for is to binge watch all eight "Harry Potter" movies in our sweats while eating copious amounts of junk food.
Though we’ve all had the pleasure of meeting some pretty amazing people at school, no new friends that we’ve made could possibly begin to fathom what we’ve all been through together. You are the ones who helped me grow into the person I am today — the version of me that my school friends know. You are the ones who stuck beside me in my bangs, braces and Ed Hardy phase (and for that alone I am forever grateful). Thanks for loving me even when I was ugly. You are the ones who helped me through every up and down through high school. You are the ones who have been there for practically all my firsts in life, and will certainly be here for many more. You are the ones I turn to today, even though we are all so very far from one another.
Though we are not physically together, please understand that your texts and FaceTime calls mean more to me than you know. You staying in contact with me every day (even if it’s a just screenshot of a meme that you stumbled upon or a mirror picture of you searching for outfit advice) is more than I could possibly ask for. I am beyond grateful for people like you in my life.
So, thank you. Thank you for answering my late night calls and texting me just to wish me good luck on my tests. Thank you for trying to actively be a part of my college life by getting to know my friends from school, for letting me ramble on about people you’ve never even met and for making an effort to know my class schedule so you can call at times when you’re sure I’ll answer. Thank you for not judging me when I make mistakes. Thank you for continuously reminiscing our past antics and making me laugh until it hurts trying to remember why we did what we did. Thank you for keeping me updated on everything that’s going on in your life and allowing me to be a part of it. Thank you for shaping me into the person I’ve become. Thank you for being the closest thing I have to real sisters.
Just know that all my friends at school know each and every one of you individually, mostly because I never shut up about you and there are at least a hundred pictures of you plastered on all of my walls. Besides my family, my dogs and my bed, you are what makes me appreciate coming home. I am counting down the days until we are reunited again and are able to watch seasons of The Office in full and eat homemade chili until we get sick. I miss you endlessly.
All my love,
Your best Friend
