Dear Amazing People,

First, I want to kick off this letter by saying thank you! You all are so amazing for accepting the new kid in freshmen year of high school and being so helpful, caring and sweet. We spent almost 4 whole years together, and I wouldn’t give up those memories for anything! We had at least two or three classes together and our shared interests in clubs and extracurriculars brought us closer as the years went. I remember all the Model United Nations trips, the National Honor Societies fundraisers, the National Art Honor Society Christmas parties and much, much more!

Over time, I didn’t even realize the memories and bonds that we made and those are some of the most cherished moments of my life. Even though we’ve had some stressful and frustrating times in school, I always knew that you guys would be there for me and looking at your beautiful smiles and your enormous, giving hearts, made me love you even more. You always found a way to cheer me up in the worst of times and those were the times that are most significant. You were always there to support me and I felt so lucky to have sisters like you! We have shared an amazing love for music, movies, shows, vacation spots, traveling, and adventure! Nothing ever beats our fast food runs, hangouts, movie trips, love for Disney and late-night heart-to-heart conversations!

There isn’t a week that goes by in this hectic, crazy, running time of life that I don’t think of you. I’m always going through my Facebook, Instagram and photo library, thinking about all the fun times, smiles, and memories that we shared. Since coming to college, I know that we’ve made a lot of new close friends, and that’s okay because I know that our friendship is irreplaceable! I know that we don’t talk a lot in our busy times but know that I miss you all so much! Most importantly, I miss spending time with all of you and I wish you a lot of success and happiness! I hope that our bond still continues into the future and I can be able to tell people that “I’ve known her since she was ….”! I’m always reminiscing our times when you were always by my side and I can’t wait to see you guys again very soon!

Love,

Your Khushbu

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
