To my best friend that got her heart broken,

I was never the one to tell a guy, "If you hurt my best friend I will hurt you." Now that I see how awful he treated you I want to ask: How could he ever do that to someone? Did he even put her feelings into consideration? If he really did love her, why would he treat her poorly? Even if things ended on bad terms, would you really want her to feel like she wasted her time? I am a strong believer that everyone comes into your life for a reason and that you should not go a day without smiling.

I just want you to be strong because things will get better. It may be stormy now, but it never rains forever. I know times may be tough. It is so hard not being at your side 24/7 to comfort you. I want you to know how wonderful, smart, beautiful, and talented you are. Any guy would be crazy not to see all the amazing things you have to offer. You never need a boy to tell you that you are beautiful. Just come to me every time and I will assure you that you are meant to be on this earth. So many people love you in this world. Don't hold back on your life because of a guy. Remember that God has a plan for both you and I and we still have so much life to live. I wish I could be with you for this hard time in your life, and sometimes a phone call won't always cut it. When I see you, you're not leaving my arms. Remember guys are not always worth it. I want you to wake up every single day and live your life to the fullest. Boys come and go. At the time you may think they are your everything. I don't know how someone can treat you so awful when you are so kind hearted. I am really sorry for that and don't always have an explanation. You always look out for others and put them before you put yourself. This is your time now, though. It is OK to be a little selfish. I am here if you need a "good morning beautiful" or goodnight text because there is no reason why you should not be happy.

I want you to stay strong for me. It takes time and your heart will soon heal. Every person you meet will teach you a lesson.
