Hair. Now I know what you're thinking: “You’re going to give us a bunch of complicated hairstyles and trends we can’t wear!” Well, I mean, it sounds like something I would do, but I’m feeling generous today. Now ladies and gentlemen, get ready to hear about the latest and high-fashion trends.
The low-pony. Sophisticated and classic, this is great for those who need their hair out of their face, or for my sporty guys and gals. It’s simple, and easy to do. All you need is a hair tie, and if you want to get all Disney Princess on me, a bow. This hair trend has been seen on the runway all season. It’s a great hairstyle, because you can wear it from the court, to the class, to the office.
Waves are always in style! Waves can range from almost curly to loose, barely there waves. It’s a hair trend that anyone can pull off. For my curly girls, get a defining gel for your hair and a straightening serum for wet hair. Use the straightening serum when your hair is wet, and then add defining gel when your hair is dry to create defined waves. Remember not to brush your hair! For anyone else, waves are simple to do with a waving spray, and if you’re feeling fancy, go get that curling iron and burn that hair! No, not really, get a heat protecting spray. Waves are low maintenance as well, because if they get mussed up it just looks avant garde and high fashion.
The top knot is perfect for everyone and anyone. It has been worn for decades, and hasn’t gone out of style for a good reason. It takes less than a minute to do, and virtually every hair type can pull it off. It looks good with any outfit! Have a great outfit planned but don’t know what to do with your hair? Put it in a bun! Have a job interview and want something quick and effortless to do with your hair? Bun it, babe! Chill day at home in sweats?! I’m not gonna say it again, you get the point.
Bronde, a combination of blonde and brown, is hot this season. It’s like dirty blonde, but with a bit more brown thrown in there. It’s honey colors, with some lighter blonde highlights and darker undertones. It’s low maintenance, much like some of these other looks, because when it grows out it blends into your natural hair. I think it looks even better growing out, because then you get even more variation of color.
I’d rather knot *wink, wink* tell you anymore trends. I’m sorry I have to cut this short. Alright, enough with the puns. Happy hair day!
