Four Things My Sister Needs To Know

It is important

I have a younger sister named Danielle. She is three years younger than myself. She is in her final year of high school and there are some aspects that may or may not have gone unsaid.

1) I do like when we do things together.

Whether it be watching a movie or a television show we both like or actually going out to the movies. Playing Just Dance. Swimming in the pool together. I do find it fun and we should hang out more.

2) You're smart.

When you apply yourself, you are a bright young lady. You have the ambition to go far if you allow yourself to set goals for yourself.

3) People care about you.

You have such a beautiful soul and such a kind heart. All you want is for people to care about you and I promise you, many people do. Every time you meet a new person, you always compliment them on something. Whether you like their hair, or their outfit, or their animal that is with them. You're one of the sweetest people I have ever met.

4) That besides mom, I love you more than anyone.

You might be a huge pain in the butt sometimes, but you're one of my longest friends and will be my forever friend. We might not do as much together as both you and I would like, but that is going to change. As we get older, I start to value our friendship more than I did and I never want to take it for granted.

You're the only sister I have and we should make the best of our relationship!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
