We all love a good TV show, but some shows you just can't binge watch. What is binge watching? Binge watching is watching a bunch of episodes (or seasons) of a show in one sitting. This is one of my favorite activities. When you binge watch a show you get a steady stream of the plot, characters, and action. There are no cliffhangers, or waiting a week till you get your next fix. The whole show is at your fingertips. It's marvelous.

1. Gossip Girl

This is a show about an upper east side royalty and an outsider from Brooklyn. It takes place at their super fancy private school. Everything is pretty normal in their world except one thing; there is an online anonymous site that documents every secret and scandal, and there are a lot of them. What makes this show so addicting and binge-worthy? The plot constantly has shocking turns and twists. You can't stop after one episode. You'll always want more. Also, the characters are so well developed and interesting you get attached to them like you really know them, and after watching them act for 12 hours straight you basically do.

2. Grey's Anatomy

This show is extremely famous for a reason. It's great. It follows Doctors in Seattle Grace Hospital at their job and in their daily lives. The sexy scandals and bloody action go well together in perfect harmony. With names like McSteamy and McDreamy, the show often has little bursts of hummor as well. The show follows a sort of "case of the week" type plot while also having their characters and their relationships follow one big constant plot line. This show is so incredibly addicting because of the dialogue. It is so quotable and heart wrenching you will find yourself wiping away tears afte every episode.

3. How To Make A Murderer

This show is pretty new and it is all the buzz right now. Steve Avery was accused of murdering a woman after he filed a law suit against his local police department for false imprisonment of eighteen years. The real life documentary shows the shocking moments of Steven Avery's whole case. This documentary is so addicting because who doesn't love a conspiracy theory that could actually be true? If you want to become a crime solver overnight than this is the show for you.

4. Friends

Friends is quite possibly one of the most famous shows to date. People have a theory that every TV show uses the Friends dynamic to make their show successful. Friends is about six people who live in New York City. Yup that's it and it is one of the most entertaining shows on the planet. Even though this show is from the 90's it's jokes and story lines are something we can still relate to today.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
