For my CSGs while we’re away at college

It’s pretty crazy isn’t it? How far we’ve come? At this point some of us have been friends for 15 years (woah) but it seems like just yesterday we were at our CYO basketball practice in 5th grade yapping away about who we thought was going to win American Idol and how bad we wanted to beat St. Catherines.

Everyone has always told me how lucky I am to have had such a great group of friends for so long and I will forever be so thankful. We’ve been through everything together and no matter how many ups and downs and twists and turns we’ve endured and how close or far we've grown to each other , our friendships have always remained.

And even though we're all miles and miles away, all with different life paths in mind, I am thankful we continue to be there for each other. I am thankful that we are all still best friends at heart. I am thankful I’ve always been able to count on you for a movie night with endless amounts of popcorn and chocolate. I am thankful for all of our inside jokes. I am thankful for you.

I guess all of those years of no nail polish, safety patrol, English definition memorizing, religion quizzes, spelling chapters, saint speeches, our hair slicked back in pony tails, waiting outside for Obama to fly over our school(HE NEVER DID) and ugly uniform shoes (I could go on for DAYS) really did paid off.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
