The Motivational Quotes You Need To Get Through Finals Week Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Finals week is a rough ride for everyone. Whether you are studying for exams, finishing long essays, or just watching your friends stress, having some motivation is important.

So, here's a little motivation to reset your vibe for the rest of this finals week:

1. Aries

"It always seems impossible until it is done."

- Nelson Mandela

This finals week, Aries, remember that you are capable. Your finals may seem impossible, and you may find yourself doubting your ability to get through them. They will come, you just have to be prepared for them. As long as you focus on your goals for this week, you'll conquer your finals and be done sooner than you think!

2. Taurus

"Success is maintained and achieved by those who try and keep trying."

- W. Clement Stone

Taurus! You should take the opportunity this finals week to use your stubbornness to your advantage! Instead of butting heads with your peers or people around you, challenge yourself and push yourself to new heights at the end of this semester! You will try and try again, pushing yourself to study hard and do your very best on your finals!

3. Gemini

"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out."

- Robert Collier

Gemini, you frequently tend to overwhelm yourself with huge, daunting tasks, and this week you need to remember to approach everything one step at a time. Like Collier says, "small efforts!" Take each day as it comes, and don't panic about big tasks at hand. Just break them down into small steps and tackle those one at a time.

4. Cancer

"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going."

- Beverly Sills

You know yourself best Cancer, and you know that you can often find yourself tempted to slack off. But now is not the time for that! There is no taking the easy way out this finals week! So you're gonna have to face the music, and push forward through this last week of exams with all that you've got!

5. Leo

"The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power."

- Unknown

Leos hate not being in full control (I would know, I am one!), so not being able to change the past SUCKS! But, you have to remember that there is only so much you can do! So just remember to stay focused on the tasks you have in front of you, not the ones that have already passed, that you can't do anything about. Dwelling on those isn't gonna help! So focus on those finals this week, and ace the hell out of each one as it comes!

6. Virgo

"There is no substitute for hard work."

- Thomas Edison

Virgo, you are no stranger to hard work. But finals week can prove to be an extra challenge, even for the most hard-working students. Just keep in mind that finals are only for a week, so push through, you're almost finished! Don't get lazy though! Some people tend to start to slack off because classes are over, but you still have your big exams to do, so don't get distracted and work hard for those As!

7. Libra

"Try not to let what you can't do meddle with what you can do."

- John Wooden

Libra, you love to live a very balanced life. But when it comes down to finals week, you've got to keep certain things separate. Don't let thoughts of not being able to do well this week invade your determination for success this week! Be sure that you can balance working hard with time to rest because constant work without any breaks isn't good for you!

8. Scorpio

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."

- Confucius

Scorpio, your organization and knack for planning ahead can sometimes be to your detriment, especially during finals week. You plan so far ahead, that if something goes awry, it throws your entire plan out of whack! So try to plan a little more openly and loosely, and just keep going even if something in your plan changes. You may have to roll with the punches, but just keep pressing forward, and you'll be able to get through the week!

9. Sagittarius

"Never leave that till tomorrow, which you can do today."

- Benjamin Franklin

Ben Franklin said it best, Sagittarius! Stop procrastinating and get your studying done now rather than later! Take this week to finish everything you need to do for the end of the semester, whether that's studying, packing, or cleaning, get it all done, so you can relax this summer! You've earned it!

10. Capricorn

"There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking."

- Brian Tracy

Hey there Capricorn! Now that finals week is upon us, it is time to focus on your goals for the end of this year! Whether that is getting As on all of your exams, or just getting the grades you need to pass, there isn't anything you can't do, so remember that! The only thing limiting you is the way you're thinking! So think big!

11. Aquarius

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

- Confucius

Ever the non-conformist, Aquarius, you gotta really take this quote to heart. Finals is probably the most rigid and structured part of school, which can often make you feel like you're being put in a mold that isn't the right size for you, and finals feel like it's gonna last, well, a thousand miles! But if you just take it one step at a time, you'll make it through. Yeah, it's probably gonna suck. But you can do it!

12. Pisces

"It is your determination and persistence that will make you a successful person."

- Kenneth J. Hutchins

Pisces, you are gifted with such strong determination and persistence, so no matter how many finals you have, whether it's 2 or 8, you'll be kicking ass and taking names! You are driven towards success, and nothing and no one is going to get in your way! Keep on keepin' on!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
